Any violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian Iandowner(s) . The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available information and belief, certifythat this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program. The structures include primary and a secondary bulkhead. The primary (seaward) bulkhead will start and be connected to the SE seaward corner of an existing bulkhead fronting the property of .fudge Carr and continue SE and connect to the existing bulkhead fronting the SE corner of the Wayne and Charlotte Brady property. The existing bulkhead fronting the Brady Property currently extends approximately 40 ft. +/- from the SE corner of the Brady property. This proposed primary bulkhead will replace the existing failed rip rap and will be constructed to match (height) of the existing bulkheads to which it will be attached. The secondary bulkhead will ran parallel to proposed Primary bulkhead and will be located some 14 ft. +/ to the landward side of the primary bulkhead. The secondary bulkhead will be 8 tL+/- high and the NW end will be connected to a proposed 8 ft (height) secondary bulkhead on the Carr property.
