Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

We propose to rebuild the above styled gazebo without changing its location or its
dimensions that existed prior the storm named Isabel. Pilings that are in place will
be used as support and/or pilings will be added as necessary.
The following are the specifications for materials for the gazebo rebuild:
Dimensions: 14'x22' (approximate)
Roof Support Highth: 7'
Type Roof. Hip Built to Code
Roof Supports: Built To Code
Roof Covering: Shingle
Piling Placement: 8' centers or less
Piling Dimensions: 8"x 16' Treated

Being the owner of the property south of and adjacent to Sea Level Inn's property
at 608 Hwy 70 East in Sea Level, North Carolina I have no problem with them
rebuilding their gazebo on their pier. The gazebo will be approximately 14 by 20
feet with a hipped roof.
