Any violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void. This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian landowner(s) . The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available information and belief, certifythat this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program. Northen Subject: CAMA permit Per my conversation with Jonathan Howell at the CAMA office, I understand that you can go by his office and pick up an emergency permit for rebuilding our dock in accordance with the original permit, and that there is no fee for the issuance of the permit. The original dock was about 170 feet long, had a pad which was about 12x 16 feet, and a boatlift. Almost of the posts are still there, but none of the decking remains. This fax is to designate Mike Noe and/or Amy Noe as the agent for John A. Northen and Sheila S. Northen in the respect, so that you may sign whatever application form is required. Our property is located at 8722 Emerald Plantation Drive, and I believe is Lot 9 of the subdivision. The neighboring lot on the west is owned by Robert Sonzogni, and on the lot on the east is owned by Ben Mixon.
