WALKER City Manager : (Minor) arty lines 3209/3211 We have received the information submitted to this office in your inquiry concerning the necessity of filing an application for a minor development permit under the Coastal Area Management Act. The activity you propose is exempt from needing a minor development permit as long as it meets the conditions specified below. If your plans should change and your project will no longer meet those conditions please contact me before proceeding. DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY AND CONDITIONS: 1) Project involves construction of a 250' x 4' dock with a 20' x 121 "T". The pier may not exceed the length of other piers in the area. 2) The pier will be located at the adjoining property line of 3207 and 3209/3211 Evans Street. A variance was granted by the Morehead City Board of Adjustment on July 16, 1991 to waive the 22' setback requirement of the Zoning Ordinance. 3) The "T" must be built over the water and must not cover the wetlands. 4) Pier must be elevated over the wetlands and not extend past four foot depth at mean low water.
