This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Attached is General Permit C-7823 to construct a pier and
mooring pilings at Lot #31, Sandpiper Drive, Dolphin Point
Subdivision, on Pierce Creek, in Oriental, Pamlico County, NC.
In order to validate this permit, please sign all three (3)
copies as indicated. Retain the white copy for your files and
return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed,
self-addressed envelope.

Dear Mr. Nobel:
I would like to obtain a permit to construct the pier shown
on the enclosed sketch. The property on which I plan to build
the pier is identified as lot #31 in the Dophin Point
Subdivision, Oriental, NC and has water frontage on Pierce Creek.
I have also enclosed copies of the "Adjacent Riparian
Property Owner Statements" which have been signed by each of the
adjacent property owners. Each neighbor was also provided a copy
of the sketch showing the relation of my planned pier to the
piers on the adjoining properties. I have also enclosed copies
of the drawings of the adjacent piers which were provided to me
at the time they were constructed.
I believe that the plan as shown respects all of the CAMA
restrictions including non -obstruction of the navigable channel,
all construction within the 1/3 channel restriction, and
consistency with neighboring pier extension.
If you have questions with regard to this plan I can be
