I call to your attention, copy attached, paragraphs three and four. Am I to be refused my right to the view that I as a tax payer am entitled to? I have owned this property, paid taxes, for 26 years and now you are trying to take away the reason for my owning a. "place at the beach". I would also state that my son-in-law went to talk to the Welchs on 3-25-95. His mission was to see if compromise could be. worked out. We would like to be able to see something from our property besides Mr. Welch's old boat, tree and now a boat/boat lift. The current situation suggests that we are expected to sit idly by while our view is completely compromised and the willow tree continues to extend it roots into our septic system. His dredging and dumping the refuse on his lot can only be accomplished if it is hauled through my property again causing damage. It is for these reasons that I decline any approval of the request made in the attached form letter. As to Mr. Welches having a boat lift installed on the North side of his property (property adjoining Vernon Thompson ). My reservations about the lift is that Mr. Welch currently has a tree and an old boat that obstructs the view of the sound and its beauty from my property now. By his adding another obstruction in the air, it will be impossible for me to take advantage of the scenic view that has partially been denied with Mr. We]ches present obstructions. I must sav no to this request also.
