and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

The Board of Directors of Salty Shores Canal Owners Association,
Inc., met on April 4, 2001 to review application of Mr. David
Weeks for maintenance dredging at Lot #1, Salty B, Section
4. The application was approved as follows:
The applicant is to obtain CAMA permits as may be required by
law prior to beginning work, along with the notification of
adjoining property owners.
Applicant will be responsible for removal and disposal of spoils
as directed by CAMA, and Salty Shores Canal Owners Association
is not financially supporting this project. This is an individual
undertaking.
Also, our board has approved any additional requests from
canal owners to CAMA for similar dredging projects with the
same requirements as above. By this letter, we approve any like
requests for maintenance dredging under piers, boatlifts, and
walkways only.

cs'P prior to any maintenance dredging beginning.
