This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local issuing date
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Teri,
Thank you for meeting me Tuesday at the above mentioned address. I have gathered the
additional information that you requested. I have attached a sketch of the proposed
project.
As you may recall, this project has a 134' concrete walkway that will lead out to the new
pier. While I presented you with a drawing that showed a 4'x10' pier going to a 10'x25'
end platform, you indicated that we could go further.
I have talked with the homeowner and he would like to stay in line with his neighbors to
the east. Thus, he would like to get a permit for a 4'x20' pier going to the 10'x25'
platform. This would be 45' of new construction added to the 134' concrete "groin,"
making for a 179' project. The water depth, at mean low water, is 30 inches.
In addition to a sketch, I have attached the necessary statements from the adjacent
property owners. Thank you for your help and please do not hesitate to call me if you
have any questions.
