This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Joe Barwick is a lot/homeowner and a member of Spooners Creek North Homeowners
Association, Inc. He is currently assigned boatslip # 12, which is on a pier that
accommodates boats up to 26' long. The upcoming reconfiguration does not affect his
boatslip. The Association does not have any objection to Mr. Barwick putting in a boatlift
and moving two pilings, at his own expense, as long as the slip and lift do not
accommodate a boat longer than the pier is designated to handle.

Joe and Vickey Barwick own lot # 4 in Spooners Creek North Homeowners' Association,
Inc. They are currently assigned boatslip # 12. As you know, a reconfiguration of this
marina is now in progress, but this project will not affect the Barwicks' boatslip. They
have sought permission to put a boatlift into their boatslip. The Association does not
have any objection to this request, as long as the boat they plan to use in this slip is no
longer than 26'.
