This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dear Scott,
I would like to apply for a general permit for maintenance excavation of the boat basin
and bulkhead repair and replacement here at Salter Path Family Camp Ground. The
maintenance excavation will be done within the bulkheaded boat basin. The bulkhead
work will be divided between approximately 190 feet in the boat basin and 111 feet on
Bogue Sound as we talked about on your October visit.
We will be excavating to a maximum depth of five feet with an estimated spoils of
around 700 cubic yards. The spoils will be placed back on our property so that they may
drain. The spoils will remain on our property after they are drained.
The adjoining properties have been notified; the letter to/from them is attached along
with a drawing of the affected areas.

Salter Path Family Camp Ground is applying for a general permit for maintenance
excavation of our bulkheaded boat basin and repair/replacement of approximately 291
feet of the bulkhead from the local CAMA in Morehead City.
We will be doing some maintenance work within the confines of our boat basin,
removing materials from the area that has filled in over the years. We will be placing
all spoils for drainage onto our property; the purpose is to reach a working depth of
approximately 5 feet in the boat basin. Your property is not to be affected.
Scott Jones, local CAMA officer, indicated that you needed to be notified (no hearing is
necessary for this maintenance permit), so your signature indicates that you have
received this notification and that you have no objections to this project.
