Attached is General Permit #C-27587 to install seven (7) temporary marker buoys and anchors in Pamlico
and Craven County within the Neuse River between a line from Cockle Point to mouth of South River and
a line from Daniels Point to mouth of Adams Creek.

your files and return the yellow and pink signed copies to us in the enclosed, self-addressed envelope.

Enclosed is our check for $100 for renewal of the permit to place seven sailboat racing marks on the
Neuse River off Oriental. Also enclosed are a chart showing the location of these marks and a list of the
latitude and longitude of their locations.
The seven marks circled on the chart are those for which we seek a permit. The other four marks, which
we sometimes use in races, are government permanent aids to navigation under the jurisdiction of the
Coast Guard. Our marks are in essentially the same location they were last year. Some slight
adjustments have been bade to create better courses but none is located such that it could interfere
with the navigation of other traffic.
The permit should be for the period May 1, 2001 to November 1, 2001.
I have enclosed a stamped envelope addressed to my home which will save me a trip to the Post Office.
