Thank you for sending me your letter of December 12, 2000 re the public meeting on December 21. I have just purchased
Bob Osterberg's house at 106 Knotline Road. Bob had applied with CAMA in his name as property owner earlier in the
fall and sent the accompaning $100.00 requirement. He has requested that CAMA transfer the permit request to my name
for dredging the slip behind the house. He had not heard from CAMA before he and Becky left for California on
December 15. Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the meeting on 12/2 L. I would greatly appreciate it if you could
find out for me during the hearing if the permit has been transferred to me. I'm sorry to bother you with this matter, but
the boat slip does need dredging and I would hope that it can be accomplished this winter when ROWBOAT is in the
canal.

This letter is my application for a permit to perform mainteince dredging on my boat slip,
which is located on Plantation Canal in River Bend. The work is intended to be
performed at the same time the main canal work is being done. I have marked up a
drawing, which is enclosed, showing the intended work. I have also contacted the
owners on both sides of my property and their statements are in closed.
Please let me know when you would like to do the onsite inspection, if we are not home
you have my permission to access the dredge site.
