have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

The Board of Directors of Salty Shores Canal Association, Inc.
met on September 25, 2001 to review the application of Buddy
Broadway for installation of a boat lift and jet ski lift at
lot #10, 188 Radford Lane, Radford Estates, Newport, NC.
Proposed plan attached with our seal affixed. Board members
attending were Walton, Rouse, and Hubbard.
The application was approved as follows:
The applicants are to obtain CAMA and building permits as may
be required by law prior to beginning construction.
There will be no construction within fifteen feet of adjoining
property owners as shown on attached plan.
No part of boat lift will exceed 1/4 (one fourth) of the distance
of the canal measuring from bulkhead to bulkhead. Measurements
to include pilings supporting the boat lift.
Canal width is 58 feet at this location. Plan submitted indicates
piling will not exceed 14 feet 6 inches from bulkhead.
Any alterations to approved plan must be reviewed by board of
directors prior to change being made.
