This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Brandywine Marina Association hereby applies for a general permit for maintenance
excavation of its existing entrance channel, for a maximum of 1000 cubic yards according
to the diagram attached to this letter. The approvals of the adjacent landowners, the
approval from landowner where we propose to place the spoils, and our check for
$100.00 are attached herewith. Please give Larry Hoffman a call to set up an on site
appointment for us to meet with you as part of the permitting process.

As an adjacent property owner to the Brandywine Marina, I have reviewed the map
attached to the Riparian Property Owner Statement and hereby agree that the spoils to be
removed from the areas shown on this map in the amount of approximately 1000 cubic
yards will be placed on my property (as also indicated on the map as "spoil area") and will
be allowed to dry, then appropriately hauled off. My property is designated as lots 1 and
2 of the Bay Harbor Village Subdivision, Phase II at Brandywine Bay.
I understand the Brandywine Marina Association will leave the spoils area in a similar
condition as it was prior to this project. It is possible, however, to use what minor portion
of the spoils as is necessary to fill in any existing erosion in the area.
