This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing
and attached general and specific conditions. Any violation of these terms
may subject the permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action; and
may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit of-
ficer when the project is inspected for compliance. The applicant certi-
fies by signing this permit that 1) this project is consistent with the local
land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement has
been obtained from adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they
have no objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that this project
is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Dear Mr. Jones:
I am applying for a permit to dredge in the vicinity of my dock at the
address shown above. I have enclosed a "ADJACENT RIPARIAN
PROPERTY OWNER STATEMENT" APPROVAL form for one of my
neighbors and a copy of a Certified mail certificate indicating I have mail
him the appropriate form to execute. When the approved form is received I
will forwarded it to you. The requested dredging envelope is included. I
addition I have enclosed a check for $50.00 for the permit. I understand that
effective 8/1/00 the fee will be raised to $100.00.

address shown above. The one remaining item to be provided is the adjacent
owner approval form, which I have enclosed.
I would also like to inquire about the dredge plan I have submitted
and whether that can be modified subsequent to learning what the cost for
this effort will be. Can this area be modified without additional adjacent
property owner approval?
