Enclosed you will find a plan and profile of the proposed 8" PE, 2406 SDR 13.5 Gas main
crossing Chaney Creek. As the drawings show, we will be parallel to US HWY. 17 in Onslow
County, NC. Also included in the package are "Statement of no Objections" that we received
from Mr. Carl Ragsdale, Owner and Mr. Michael Moore, City Manager for Jacksonville. These
represent the properties on both sides of the crossing.
If you could please provide us with a general permit for this crossing, so that my client North
Carolina Natural Gas Corp. may proceed with a directional drill of this crossing. Also included
in the package is a check made out to DENR for $100.00 US dollars.
If you have any questions please feel free to give me a call. I have provided you with one of my

The attached map shows the location of the pipeline crossing. I have also attached
copies of the letters of no objection. Only two landowners are involved at this
crossing. There is a typo on the letters; the highway should be 17, not 117. This
crossing is to be directionally drilled.
