imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Dear Gentlemen:
You have been identified as riparian property owners to E.C. Willet's property known as
Rush Point on Harkers Island. We previously notified you for some activities that are presently
underway. Mr. Willet is now applying to the N.C. Division of Coastal Management to modify his
boat slips located in Rush Creek and to install boat lifts. The attached drawing shows the
proposed activity.
In accordance with N.0 Coastal Management Regulations, the riparian property owners
are required to be notified of the proposed activity and they have the opportunity to comment
directly to Coastal Management Representatives. This project will be handled by:
