The Division of Air Quality(DAQ)has completed its review of the relative accuracy test audit(RATA) conducted by TRC Environmental Corp. (TRC) on November 1, 2016. Test results for the carbon monoxide (CO)/ oxygen(02) continuous emission monitoring systems (CEMS) operating on hospital, medical and infectious waste incinerator (HMIWI) ES01 and HMIWI ES02 were reported as follows: Emission Source Parameter Relative Accuracy Specification CO 0.8%* < 5% of standard* ES01 02 0.48% < 1.0% (mean difference) CO 1.3%* < 5% of standard* ES02 02 0.45% < 1.0% Imean difference) *Alternative demonstration:RA<5%when using emission standard. Based on our review, the CO/02 CEMS operating on the incinerators appear to have met the relative accuracy (RA) requirements of 40 CFR Part 60, Appendix B, Performance Specification 4A.
