Dear Mr. Scheller:
The results of the subject EPA Methods 5/202 and Method 7E testing have been reviewed by the Division of
Air Quality's Stationary Source Compliance Branch. Upon review, the test procedures and results are
considered acceptable.
15A NCAC 2Q .0317 Avoidance Conditions for 15A NCAC 2D .0530 Prevention of Significant
Deterioration applies to Biofilter CD— 18 and sets limits for NOx for all MDF processes. The facility is
required to test and establish, or compare,the emission factors for the biofrlter to the emission factors set
forth in permit condition 2.2.13.1. The test results indicate compliance to the regulations.
