Taylorsville,North Carolina Alexander County 03/0200099 - Small Air Permit No. 10074ROI Dear Mr. Harris: Air Permit No. 10074ROI was issued to Harris Manufacturing,Inc., Taylorsville,Alexander County North Carolina on February 24,2015, with an effective date of February 24,2015. Specific Condition and Limitation No. 7.b. of said permit states in part: "Recordkeeping Requirements-The results of all inspections and any variance from manufacturer's recommendations or from those given in this permit(when applicable)shall be investigated with corrections made and dates of actions recorded in a logbook. Records of all maintenance activities shall be recorded in the logbook. The logbook(in written or electronic format) shall be kept on-site and-made available to DAQ personnel upon request." Mr. Ryan Mills of this office performed an inspection of your facility on July 9,2019. During that inspection,Mr. Mills observed that no such logs are being maintained. Therefore,this Notice of Deficiency is issued to Harris Manufacturing,Inc. for a deviation from Air Permit No. 10074R0.1 Specific Condition and Limitation No. 7.b. It is requested that a written response to this Notice of Deficiency be submitted to this office as soon as possible,but no later than ten days following receipt of this notice. Your response should describe any corrective actions that have been taken by the company to assure compliance with the referenced permit condition(s)at all times. It should be noted that additional documented deficiencies could result in a Notice of Violation by this office.
