Dear Ms.Carter,
I am in receipt of your letter dated April 26,2019 regarding our permit violations.Our maintenance
manager, Dale Kelly, has been in touch with Jeff Cole sending him information regarding our need to
update our training and our lack of following procedures.
In regard to our violation of 15A NCAC 02D.0521 we have re-trained our maintenance staff on the
proper way to measure opacity and are using the picture taken on April 9 as out of bounds. I am
satisfied they understand the process.
In regard to our violation of 15A NCAC 02D.0622 we have re-trained our maintenance staff on the
proper procedure to follow regarding pressure readings that require action,specifically washing the
filters or re-covering them.The clean air system log books will be reviewed daily to ensure the proper
action is taken.
