2nd exit onto Gillespie St. Take the 3rd right onto W Russell St. Turn left onto Robeson

2) SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS: Standard DAQ equipment. The mine has never been
constructed so there is no activity.
3) Facility and Process Description:
Martin Marietta Aggregates Pee Dee Quarry is a mining operation that will produce gravel and
aggregates for the construction industry. This facility is permitted under Air Permit No.
06334R08, effective from 28 February 2017 until 31 January 2025.

5) INSPECTION SUMMARY:
On 10 March 2020, I Jeff Nelson of FRO DAQ conducted a site visit to the Martin Marietta
Aggregates Pee Dee Plant. The site continues to remain inactive with no equipment on site. I
spoke to the facility contact,Richard Broughton by telephone. Mr.Broughton stated that the
company has no intentions of doing anything at the site. He also stated that the company would
contact FRO DAQ in the event that they decide to construct the facility.
6) COMMENTS AND COMPLIANCE STATEMENT:
Martin Marietta Aggregates Pee Dee Quarry appeared to be in compliance on 10 March 2020 as
not yet constructed or operating.
