Hermon-Rock Creek Road Graham,NC 27253 Subject: Test Protocol Submittal for CO,PM,HCl,&Hg Emissions Testing Canfor Southern Pine-Graham Plant Graham,North Carolina Alamance County 4-0100237-Title V Air Permit No.06740T22 Dear Mr.Blalock, This is to acknowledge receipt on June 11,2020, of the Protocol Submittal Form for the carbon monoxide(CO), filterable particulate matter(PM), hydrochloric acid(HCI), and mercury(Hg) emissions tests scheduled for the week of August 25, 2020 at the above referenced facility. The emission sources to be tested are the three wood fuel-fired boilers(Emission Source ID No. B-2,B-3, B-4). A copy of this Protocol Submittal Form will be forwarded to our Stationary Source Compliance Branch in Raleigh for review. They will notify you of the results of that review when it is completed. The instructions for the Protocol Submittal Form state that the form should be submitted at least 45 days prior to testing to allow the Division sufficient time for review. Your submittal did not meet this requirement. Should you conduct the test without receiving approval from the Stationary Source Compliance Branch,the test may not be accepted.
