Dear Mr. Davey:
In May,we were notified by Ms. Mamie Colburn of our failure to submit the required air reports
due by January 30, 2021, for three Valdese Weavers, LLC facilities. During January 2021, we
had a change in facility personnel and Eddie Atkinson, the individual who previously signed and
submitted these reports, left the company. As a result of this change, there was a
miscommunication, and the reports were not submitted by the due date. Upon learning of the
failure to report, Valdese Weavers, LLC submitted the overdue reports as required.
In response to three "Notice of Deficiency" letters issued by the Division of Air Quality for the
Valdese Weavers, LLC facilities on September 1, 2021, we would like to assure you that future
reports will be submitted by the required date. Scott McLaughlin, Facility Manager, has become
aware of the reporting requirements and will make sure that these reports are submitted as
required going forward.
