1) Location: Carolina Leg Co is located at 4509 Hartland Road in Lenoir,NC.
Caldwell County.

Directions: From ARO, take I-40 east Jamestown Road exit 100. Follow
Jamestown Rd. to Hwy 70 East. Follow to hwy 18/64. Follow 18/64 to Lenoir.
In Gamewell before Lenoir look for Calico Road at caution light intersection and
turn left. Go to next intersection at Calico Road and Hartland. Facility is on
Northeast corner.
2) Facility Overview: Carolina Leg Co is a woodworking facility, producing
components parts mainly for furniture legs in industry and craft builders. This
company is new. Hunter and Charlie Munday bought out former owner, Jeff Keller
last February, 2019. Last compliance inspection was performed by Richard Morris
on January 10, 2019.
Safety: ear/eye protection and steel toed shoes.
Inspection Narrative:
On April 12, 2021, I traveled to Carolina Leg Company, and made an off-site,
unannounced observation of the facility. The facility appeared to be shutdown. No VE or
fugitive dust was observed from the facility.No objectionable odor was detected. Due to the
COVID- 19 Pandemic,DAQ staff are not physically going inside facilities to perform
inspections. On April 13,2021, at approximately 3:38PM,I called Hunter Munday, Co-
Owner. Based on my conversation with Mr. Munday, we discussed the following:
a) FACFINDER has been updated to reflect Hunter Munday as the invoice.

b) Mr. Munday informed me this plant is shut down and for sale. Mr. Munday
said they moved their operation to 11 I Davis Street, Hudson,NC 2863 8.
Process Description:
This facility produces component parts for the furniture industry using saws, lathes,
sanders, molders and other woodworking equipment. The woodworking equipment is
controlled by two cyclones in parallel and collects dust to a collection house.
