-Dear Mr. Blalock,
This is to acknowledge electronic receipt at the Winston- Salem Regional Office, on June 22,
202 1 , of the Protocol Subm ittal Form for the filterable particulate matter (FPM) emissions tests
scheduled for August 25, 2021 at the above referenced faci I ity. The emission source to be tested is the
wood fuel-fired boiler (B-3 ). A copy of this Protocol Submittal Form will be forwarded to our
Stationary Source Compliance .Branch in Raleigh for review. They will notify you of the results of that
review when it is completed.
The instructions for the Protocol Submittal Form state that the farm should be submitted at
least 45 days prior to testing to allow the Division sufficient time for review. Your submittal did meet
this requirement for the tests scheduled for August 25, 2021 . Should you conduct the tests without
receiving approval. from. the Stationary Source Compliance Branch, the tests may not be accepted. If
