Emissions Testing of ES-9 External Heat Exchanger

Grace Consulting performed EPA Method 5/202 total particulate matter (PM)testing of the
external heat exchanger (EHE) ES-9. The total PM emissions test results demonstrate
compliance with the applicable total PM emissions limit as discussed below.
Emissions Source ES-9 the external heat exchanger B with a 70 ton per hour nominal capacity.
Emissions from ES-9 are controlled by baghouse CD-9. 15A NCAC 2D .0515 Particulates From
Miscellaneous Industrial Processes applies to ES-9. The reported process rate averaged 34.8
tons per hour (tph). The 2D .0515 total PM emissions limit for this rate is 42.2 pounds per hour
(lb/hr). The test results are acceptable.
