Dear Mr.Waters:
15A NCAC 02D.0542,as referenced in Permit Specific Condition A.8.g,requires Coastal
Carolina Gin LLC—Pantego to submit an annual report containing the name and location of the cotton
gin and the number of bales produced the previous year, signed by the responsible official,by March 1 of
each year. As of the date of this notice,this office has not received the required annual report.Please
submit the report to the Division of Air Quality by March 28,2022.
This letter serves to remind you of this reporting requirement. Please be advised that any future
violations can result in possible civil penalties per North Carolina General Statute 143-215.114A.North
Carolina General Statute(a) (1) and(2)provides that a civil penalty may be assessed pursuant to North
Carolina General Statute 143-215.107.
To assure that the report is received by the required deadline,this office suggests the submittal of
an electronic copy,followed by a hard copy,to meet the compliance deadline. I appreciate your help in
