In accordance with Paragraph XV of Special Order by Consent(SOC)Number 2020-002,this
SOC expired on November 15, 2021,which is 180 days after the Division of Air Quality(DAQ)issued a
revised permit(#03449T54)with updated best achievable control technology limits for wood products
protocol 1 volatile organic compound emissions from the medium density fiberboard plant at the Moncure
facility.On November 19,2021,DAQ received a letter from you dated November 17,2021,indicating that
all conditions of SOC Number 2020-002 have been satisfied and requesting formal closure of the SOC.
The purpose of today's letter is to confirm that SOC Number 2020-002 is officially closed out.
