Standard DAQ equipment. The mine has never been constructed so there is no activity.
3) Facility and Process Description:
Martin Marietta Aggregates Pee Dee Quarry is a mining operation that will produce gravel and
aggregates for the construction industry. This facility is permitted under Air Permit No.
06334R08,effective,from 28 February 2017 until 31 January 2025.

5) INSPECTION SUMMARY:
On 10 February 2022,1 Mike Thomas of FRO DAQ,conducted a site visit to the Martin Marietta
Aggregates Pee Dee Plant. The site continues to remain inactive with no equipment on site.
While onsite I called the facility contact,Richard Broughton by telephone and left a voicemail.
Mr. Broughton returned my call the next day and stated that the company has no intentions of
doing anything at the site. He also stated that the company would contact FRO DAQ in the event
that they decide to construct the facility.
6) 112R STATUS
The facility does not store any of the listed chemicals above threshold limits and is not required to
maintain a written Risk Management Plan(RMP).
7) NON-COMPLIANCE HISTORY SINCE 2010
There have been no non-compliance issues.
8) COMMENTS AND COMPLIANCE STATEMENT:
Martin Marietta Aggregates Pee Dee Quarry appeared to be in compliance on 10 February 2022
as not yet constructed or operating.
