Dawn,

I spent the morning here with Sarah going through the Aero reports from 2020 and then 2021. It appea rs the numbers
were entered incorrectly into the Emissions Factor in the spreadsheet instead of the Emiss ions HAP/TAPS section. The
same thing happened on both sections (Spray booths and VOC). This made the report calculate an extremely high
chan ge .
Plea se advise on next steps to get this fixed or how I would go about doing that.
Thanks for your help in this matter.

Dawn,
After quickly looking at the numbers reported this yea r and comparing to last years it is obvious that a mistake has
been made somewhere. I have attached a quick snapshot o f this year's co rrect numbers comparing to la st years .
I will be looking on Monday to figure out where we made the error, but the above attachment for 2022 is correct and
you can tell it is much lower than last year.
Thanks!

Good afternoon, Sarah.
4
I was prepping to begin the emissions inventory review for your facility by printing out some summary documents. The
facility totals report (attached) shows some unusually high values . Would you please take a look at this and see if there
is indeed an error, or if these values are correct. If they are correct, what was the significant change in operations.
I look forward to hearing from you .

Chad,
In order to change the authorized contact at a Title V facility, the rules require the paperwork (A form) signed by
someone at the Vice President level or higher be sub mitted to our office. This form can be found on our website
https://deg.nc.gov/about/divisions/air-guality . Once on the site, go to permits and rules, DEQ Forms, Division of Air
Qua lity Forms, Title V (under per m itting), se lect either the exce l sheet or .pdf of Form A; Fill in the first section for the
general facility information, then fill in the information for Jim Cole as the new Authorized Contact. This form then
needs to b e signed and the wet signature hard copy sent to the Barrett Drive address for the Raleigh Regional Office,
attention -Taylor Hartsfield, Regiona l Supervisor. To expedite the process, you may email me a copy of the signed A
form, then when the new information arrives in AERO, certified by Jim, I will already have his authorization in hand.
If you have any questions on this, let me know.
Thanks,
Dawn Reddix

Hi Sarah . I hope you are h avi ng a good Monday so far.
I checked with the Emissions Inventory coordinator to make sure I gave you the right information. Th e answer to your
question is no, you do not need to resend paper co pies of the report. You do, however, need to send so mething that
shows that the authorized conta ct signs off on the changes that you are making. For example, if you make the changes
in AERO, then send a summary of the changes that you have made to Brittain Russell, Genera l Manager -Authorized
Contact letting him know that the error was made and that you have made the changes (that you outline in you r email)
to correct the changes. Mr. Russell then needs to reply to you that he is okay with the changes that were made. You
then send/release the updated c hanges in AERO, and send me the email chain that you create so that I will have a
record that the Authorized Contact says he agrees/certifies th e changes that were made to the inventory.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,

Good morning, Jim.
Two options to change the va lues -you can send me the va l ues that need to be changed, or I can have the packet sent
back to you to make the changes. For me to make the changes, you have to send it to me in writing that you are
requesting that I make the changes to your inventory.
We can do what works best for you.
I hope you had a great weekend, and we will get this straightened out.
Thanks,
Dawn

Dawn,
I spent the morning here with Sarah going through the Aero reports from 2020 and then 2021. It appears the numbers
were entered incorrectly into the Emissions Factor in the spreadsheet instead of the Emissions HAP/TAPS section. The
same thing happened on both sections (Spray booths and VOC). This made the report calculate an extremely h igh
change.
Please advise on next steps to get this fixed or how I would go about doing that.
Thanks for your help in this matter.

Dawn,
After quic k ly looking at the numbers reported this year and comparing to last years it is obvious that a mistake ha s
been made somewhere. I have attach ed a quick snapshot of this year's correct numbers comparing to last years .
I will be look ing on Monday to figure out where we made the er ror, but the above attachment fo r 2022 is corr ect and
you can tell it is muc h lower than last year.
Thanks!

Good afternoon, Sarah.
I was p repping to begin the emissions inventory review for your facility by print ing out some summary documents. The
facility t otals report (attached ) shows some unusua lly h igh values. Would you please take a look at this and see if t here
is indeed an error, or if these values are co r rect. If they a re correct, w hat was the significant change in operations.
I look forward to hearing from you.
