Dear Mr. Bean,
Your current air permit, identified above, includes a stipulation requiring that an air
permit renewal application and air emissions inventory report be submitted to this office 90 days
prior to expiration of your permit: condition A.2, 15A NCAC 02D .0202 Permit Renewal and
Emission Inventory Requirement. The air permit renewal application and air emissions
inventory report were due on 2 August 2022. The application and emission inventory
certification documents were received by this office on 5 August 2022. This letter is to officially
inform you that by failing to submit the required air permit renewal application and air emissions
inventory by the due date you deviated from your air permit and 15A NCAC 02D .0202.
As stated in the subject above, this letter represents a Notice of Deficiency for the cited
deviations. Be aware that future deviations from air quality regulations could result in issuance
of a Notice of Violation and may be subject to the assessment of civil penalties according to
North Carolina General Statute 143-215.114A.
Additionally, the Division strongly recommends that you carefully examine your current
