Dear Mr. Arnett:
On June 29, 2021, this office received the results of EPA Method 9 tests performed on June 2,
2021 at the subject facility. The EPA Method 9 test results were found to be acceptable and
demonstrate that the Backup Feed Conveyor was in compliance with the applicable visible
emission standards during the testing period.
The Backup Feed Conveyor is subject to 15A NCAC 02D .0524: NSPS 40 CFR PART 60
SUBPART 000— Standards o/Perfo►ntartcc}for,4rorinletallic Mineral Processing Plants. As
required by Subpart 000, the Backup Feed Conveyor is limited to 10 percent opacity (as
detennined by the average of five 6--minute averages. The EPA Method 9 test results submitted
indicated that the average opacity during the testing period did not exceed 0%, thus demonstrating
compliance.
