I've been in meetings all week! You don't need to modify the permit now. We can take these engines off the permit with renewal or some other later modification that requires an application. Since you've disconnected them and removed the fuel source, you no longer have any requirements for them. I would just save our emails to record the date of their retirement. As for the emergency rental units, as long as they are portable, the NSPS and NESHAP regulations don't apply. They would not need a permit due to emergency use (no criteria emission potentially over 5 tpy, HAP negligible). We have sold our (2) emergency generators (do not plan to replace with permanent ones-just rent generators in case of emergency). The fuel has been removed and power disconnected. They are still on the property though. Once they are gone,do we need make any modifications to our current permit? We just want to prepare for what we will need to do once they are gone. I appreciate your help with this. Thanks, Wastewater Manager Perdue Foods, LLC Lewiston, NC (252)348-4390 (office) 1
