SECTION 3 COMPOSITION INFORMATION ON INGREDIENTS
ITEM CHEMICAL NAME CAS NO. EC-No. WT% RANGE
1 Trichloroethylene 79-01-6 201-167-4 55-60 %
Any remaining ingredients(to comprise t00%of the product)shoWd be considered a proprietary blend of
non-hazardous substances,or materials below threshold reporting limits.
SECTION 4- FIRST AID MEASURES
Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance.
EYE CONTACT: Flush with large quantities of water for at least 15 minutes or until irritation subsides.
Contact a Physician.
SKIN CONTACT: Wash with soap and water, Consult a physician.
INHALATION: Move to fresh air. If not breathing ,give artificial respiration. If breathing
is difficult, give oxygen. Contact a Physician immediately.
INGESTION: Do not induce vomiting. If irritation or complications arise, contact a
Physician or Regional Poison Control Center immediately.
SECTION 5- FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable extinguishing media:
Dry chemical foam, Carbon dioxide(CO2), Water spray, Alcohol-resistant foam.
Water may be helpful in keeping adjacent containers cool; avoid spreading the liquid
with water used for cooling. Water based sprinkler systems may help contain larger fires.
PA01=3Ore
Hazardous combustion products:
Hazardous decomposition products form under fire conditions-Carbon oxides.
Special Protective Equipment&firefighting procedures;
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or
equivalent) and full protective gear.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical;
Closed containers may rupture if exposed to fire or extreme heat.
May produce toxic fumes it burning.
SECTION 6 -ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal Precautions:
Use personal protectective equipment. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate
ventilation. Evacuate personal to safe areas. Remove all sources of ignition. Beware of vapors
accumulating to form explosive concentrations. Vapors can accumulate in low areas.
Environmental Precautions:
Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Do not let product enter drains.
Methods and materials for containment and clean up:
Contain spillage, and the collect with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or wet-brushing
and place in container for disposal according to local regulations.
SECTION 7- HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for safe handling:
Use only in area provided with appropriate exhaust ventilation. Do not breathe vapors or spray mist.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Take precautionary measures against static
discharges. To avoid ignition of vapors by static electricity discharge, all metal parts of the
equipment must be grounded. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Storage information: Store away from caustics and oxidizers. Keep away form heat, sparks,
and flames. Keep containers tightly closed when not in use. Keep containers from excessive
heat and freezing- Use and store containers in a well ventilated area.

Engineering Controls:
Provide sufficient mechanical ventilation (local or general exhaust) to maintain exposures below
PEL and TLV. Vapors are heavier than air and will collect in low areas. Check all low areas
(basements, sumps, ect.) for vapors before entering.
PAGE 4 OF S
Respiratory Protection:
When risk assessment shows air-purifying respirators are appropriate use full-face respirator with
multi-purpose combination (US) or type AXBEK (EN 14387) respirator cartridges a backup to
engineering controls. If the respirator is the sole meads of protection, use a full-face supplied air
respirator. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government
standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Hand Protection:
Handel with gloves. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching gloves outer surface)
to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance
with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands.
Eye Protection:
Face shield and safety glasses Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under
appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166 (EU)
Skin and Body Protection:
Impervious clothing, Flame retardant protective clothing. The type of protective equipment must
be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific
workplace.
