Royale Comfort Seating (air permit = 08939 T04 and Facility ID 200089)
located in Taylorsville, NC had made some changes to the glue containers
due to supply issues. In the past, the glue used at the facility came in totes
and we believe, due to some manufacturing difficulties, they were not able to
supply our glue in totes and are being supplied in 55 gallon drums. All the
ingredients of the glue are the same as previous glue but small changes were
noticed in the glue SDS sheets. These were: bulk density, VOC density and
Trichloroethylene (TCE) wt%. Going forward, we will use the new glue VOC
and TCE Wt % concentrations for 2023 VOC and TCE emission
calculations. We will assume ALL VOC is equal to TCE as the worst
case. Please let us know if you have any issues with our notification and
future calculations.
Please see the attached table showing the concentrations and new density
numbers for our glue along with SDS for the glue.
