General Facility Summary
Head north from WiRO and go through Cape Carteret on Hwy. 24. Upon entering Morehead City,
cross over Hwy. 70 onto Bridges Street Ext, Take the IS`left onto Gloria Dawn Rd. and then turn left
on Business Dr. Turn right onto Miller Farm Rd. The office is a little ways down on the right. This
location has a LCID landfill.

This site is permitted for an air curtain incinerator to burn vegetative debris. The manifold blows a
"curtain" of air across the pit to the far wall. If set up right,the air rolls under and recirculates
particles for more complete combustion and lower opacity. Steel-toed boots are a good idea.

I_nsnection Results
I met Billy Miller and Kathleen Taylor at the office. They haven't purchased an ACI yet. They are
still working on getting all of their solid waste permits. The air permit was issued in June.
We discussed the rules, record keeping, and reporting required in the air permit. Ms. Taylor will be
handling most of the reporting.
They will notify us when they purchase an ACI and get it set-up.
Testin
Miller Farm will conduct the required Method 9 test after start-up. Ms. Taylor has been to smoke
school.

The facility has not received any NOD's,NOV's, or NRE's in the last 5 years.

The facility appeared to be operating in compliance with their air permit at the time of the inspection.
