Hedrick Gravel and Sand Company, located in Anson County,North Carolina received by this Division on December 15, 2022 has been deemed to be incomplete. Your air permit application request must include the following items: Signature of A Responsible Official: The signature on the application and air emissions inventory certification do not qualify as the signatures of a responsible official as defined by 15ANCAC 2Q.0303(4). Permit applications and inventory certifications submitted pursuant to 15A NCAC 2Q .0304 shall be signed as follows: (a) for a corporation: a president, secretary, treasurer, or vice-president of the corporation who is in charge of a principal business function; any other person who performs similar policy or decision-making functions for the corporation; or a duly-authorized representative of such a person if the representative is responsible for the overall operation of one or more manufacturing, production, or operating facilities applying for or subject to a permit and either; (i) the facilities employ more than 250 persons or have gross annual sales or expenditures exceeding twenty-five million dollars ($25,000,000) (in second quarter 1980 dollars); or North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality I Division of Air Quality Fayetteville Regional Office I Systel Building,225 Green Street,Suite 714 I Fayetteville,NC 28301-5094 910.433.3300 T 1910.485.7467 F [3pa�manf of�nvironmenfaE Rual3iy Mr. Settle December 19, 2022 Page 2 (ii) the delegation of authority to such representatives is approved in advance by the permitting authority; (b) for a partnership or sole proprietorship: a general partner or the proprietor, respectively; or (c) for a municipality, State, federal, or other public agency: either a principal executive officer or ranking elected official. A principal executive officer of a federal agency includes the chief executive officer having responsibility for the overall operations of a principal geographic unit of the agency (e.g., a Regional Administrator of EPA). In summary, this application did not contain all the required elements as indicated above and has not been accepted for processing. This information must be submitted and contain the above requested information. The requested information must be submitted to our Office within thirty (30) days or the application may be terminated. REMINDER: DEQ now provides the option for application fees to be paid online with a debit card, credit card or eCheck. If you did not include a check with your application package for the full amount due, you may make payment through the DEQ ePayment website.
