The STAR®Ash Beneficiation Process (ES-5) permit conditions 2.1.A.21 and g contain a requirement to submit a semiannual report to include excess emissions, monitoring systems summary report, and monthly sulfur dioxide (S02) emissions for the previous seventeen(17)months. Duke Energy conservatively submits the required reports on a quarterly basis. The S02 continuous emissions monitoring system(CEMS) was certified on January 27, 2021. The monthly and twelve month rolling total S02 emissions include data obtained since the CEMS certification date.
