Dear Mr. Reams:
As of this date, the Raleigh Regional Office has not received an Emission Inventory for calendar
year(CY) 2021 from your facility in Moncure,North Carolina. Southern Veneer Specialty Products,
LLC - Moncure is required by Air Permit No. 03424T29 to submit an Annual Emission Inventory by
June 301h of each calendar year. An inventory not postmarked by June 301h is considered delinquent and
may be subject to the assessment of civil penalties as per the authority of North Carolina General Statute
143-215.114A. This letter is to inform you that failure to submit your Annual Emission Inventory by
the due date is a violation of the Annual Emission Inventory requirements specified in Section 3.X of
your air quality permit, which reads as follows:
Annual Emission Inventory Requirements f15A NCAC 02Q.020'1
The Permittee shall report by June 30 of each year the actual emissions of each air
pollutant listed in 15A NCAC 02Q.0207(a)from each emission source within the
facility during the previous calendar year. The report shall be in or on such form as
may be established by the Director. The accuracy of the report shall be certified by a
responsible official of the facility.
Please submit the Annual Emission Inventory for CY2021 and a written response to this
Notice of Violation by July 29, 2022, describing actions taken by your company to ensure future
compliance with your air permit reporting requirements. This office recommends that you or a
designated company representative review your air permit to ensure that you understand all the specific
and general permit conditions. Please note the monitoring, record keeping, and reporting requirements.

It is imperative that you take whatever steps necessary to ensure that, in the future, accurate and
complete reports are submitted in a timely manner as outlined in your air quality permit. As an
additional reminder, this Notice of Violation is required to be referenced in your facility's annual
compliance certification (ACC), in accordance with Section 3,General Condition P of your Title V
permit. Your 2022 ACC is due by March 1, 2023.
