The emissions test results demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations for all pollutants. Emissions source B-4 is a wood fuel-fired boiler controlled by two multicyclones and an electrostatic precipitator ESP-4. The maximum permitted heat input for B-4 is 57.6 million Btu per hour(mmBtu/hr). 40 CFR 63 Subpart DDDDD National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters applies and limits filterable PM to 0.037 pounds per million Btu(lb/mmBtu)and limits CO emissions to 1500 parts per million by volume on a dry basis corrected to 3%oxygen(ppmvd@3%02).40 CFR 60 Subpart Dc Standards of Performance for Small Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Steam Generating Units applies and limits filterable PM to 0.03 lb/mmBtu. The emissions test results are summarized in the following table. Pollutant Test Result Emissions Limit Regulation Compliance 0.03 lb/mmBtu 60 Subpart Dc Filterable PM 0.0045 lb/mmBtu Yes 0.037 lb/mmBtu 63 Subpart DDDDD CO 551.5 ppmvd@3%02 1500 ppmvd@3%02 63 Subpart DDDDD Yes The average heat input rate during testing was 51.4 mmBtu/hr(89%of maximum). This test rate is acceptable. The emissions test results demonstrate compliance with applicable regulations.
