Emission Inventory Reference: Submittal of 2014 Air Emission Inventory Certification Form and Supporting Emission Calculations Triangle Brick Company—Merry Oaks Dear Sirs: Enclosed please find the 2014 Emission Inventory Certification Forms for Triangle Brick Company's Merry Oaks, North Carolina facility. The actual emission inventories were submitted using NCDAQ's AERO system. In addition we are submitting supporting emission calculations for each facility. Annual emissions were estimated using emission factors developed during a United States Environmental Protection Agency/Brick Association of North Carolina sponsored source test at our Merry Oaks facility, emission factors contained the AP-42 Section 11.3 "Brick and Related Clay Products," and AP-42 fuel combustion emission factors. In addition, hydrogen fluoride, hydrogen chloride, and PM emissions are based on site specific source testing. Greenhouse gas emissions are not included since it is not mandatory and more importantly emission factors from brick plants are not readily available for these pollutants. Emissions of these pollutants will be included when required. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at(919)544-1796 or Beth Barfield at(919)233- 4501.
