Please feel free to call or e-mail with any other questions.Thanks and have a great weekend! 1)This is for Operating Scenario 43/short cycle laminating press(OS 43) In 2013 through put was entered as 8886 E3FT2/year In 2014 throughput was entered as 33116 E3FT2/year The 2014 values were nearly 4 times the value in the previous year, however the emissions are entered as a lower value. Can you provide the means by which you calculated these values. I would like to see a sample of the calculations and emission factors used. ` The emission calculation is actually based on the hours of operation for this source and going forward,that would be a better throughput value for this source/scenario.The hours of operation for 2013 were reported as 4,180 and in 2014 it was 3,829.The reason that the production in feet does not match the hours of operation lies in how we were reporting hours of operation internally.We have installed new systems that more accurately track the actual time the press is actively producing board.Therefore the time reported in 2015 is the most accurate data.The hours of - operation reported in 2014 were much greater than the actual production,therefore emissions reported in 2014 were overestimated. 2) in 2013 of ES-OS-B...OS-56 MDF Board Cooler a value of 131698 E3Ft2/year is used 2014 a value of 6145 hours/year are used. Again could you show me how you did the calculations so that they are equivalent. The throughput for this source/operating scenario should have been reported in 2014 as 131,006 E3 ft2/yr.This was an oversight on my part in completing the AFRO entry. 3) Note that there are many operating scenarios listed in AERO that have no data in them. If you could provide an explanation.,that would be great. V/ Sources or operating scenarios for which no data was reported are either: ® visible emission sources that are not required to report criteria or HAP/TAP emissions(no'factors exist for these);or ® insignificant activities 4) ES 21 or OS 80 the MDF Diesel fired emergency generator. Do you have the fuel, and fuel throughput and the operating hours for 2014. This unit did not run at all in 2014. Regarding Inventory OS-39-The value on the form supplied in aero was too high by a factor of 1000. I modified the value from 142036000 to 142036.It was a type. In 2013 the throughput was entered as 8886 x10^3 ft^2 per year and in 2014 the throughput was 33116 x10^3 ft^2 per year. Throughput was nearly times the amount as in 2013 even tho the hours of operation were less. This information was provided by Todd Phillips of Arauco.The emails are attached to the emissions inventory review. OS 63 has a control efficiency of 100%.
