Sorry! Receiving is limited by the two elevators, for a combined maximum potential of 420 tons per hour(actual
throughput is much less). The receiving bag house (CD-4 per the existing permit) is connected to the receiving drag so
that when trucks and rail are unloading the dust is controlled. The second baghouse (CD-5 per the existing permit) is on
top of the mill and collects dust from DL methionine blow pipe. The third baghouse (CD-3 per the existing permit) is not
currently active and is attached to the hammer mills.

Rebecca,
Could you actually provide the maximum throughput of the receiving systems as well, and are the bagfilters on the silos
bin vents?

Taijah,
Sharon Clark forward your questions about Ansonville's permit application to me. I'll act as the site contact until early
next year, when a new Environmental Manager for the site will be taking over. See responses below in red:
1. Could you please provide the contact information (Name, title, phone number, address, and email) for your
invoice/technical contact,as I tried to contact Joey Baggett and he informed me that he has retired.
Rebecca Day, Regional Environmental Manager, 1897 River Road Marietta, PA 17547 rebecca.dav@perdue.com
2. The permit application requested that we remove the NESHAP 7D requirements from the permit since this
location does not use material containing manganese or chromium, however in previous permit applications you
all wanted to keep this requirement to stay consistent with other Perdues. Would you still like to have this
requirement removed from the permit?
No, we would like to keep the NESHAP 7D requirements in the permit. The facility does not currently use any
materials containing manganese or chromium, but with ever changing business needs, we'd like the option to
use them in accordance with NESHAP requirements if needed in the future.
3. Lastly, could you please provide the maximum production rates/throughput of the permitted emission sources?
2
Do you need this for all emissions sources,or just the mixer that is part of the permit application? The mixer
currently runs about 70TPH, but the maximum rate is 100 TPH.
Please feel free to reach out with any other questions as you review the permit application.
Thanks,
Rebecca Day

Ms. Day,
We are close to completing our efforts to establish an emission factor to use statewide(i.e., for all such equipped
facilities)for Termit-8 emissions. Once we have this emission factor we will proceed in processing your facility's permit
modification.

Hi Jeffrey and Heather,
We appreciate your candor about the state's plans to set a statewide release limit. We've discussed internally and are
comfortable proceeding with the permit application as submitted, using the 0.05% release rate.
Please let us know if you need anything else to move forward with the permit.
Thanks,
Rebecca

Joey, it is my understanding that the application is on hold while DAQ does some investigation into the
emission factors for the Termin-8 product. We are awaiting guidance from the team on the emission factors
we will use state-wide for this product use. We will keep you informed of progress. If you have other
questions, please call me at 910-624-6469.

Joey, we are not asking the facility to curtail production. Just submit the permit modification application with
the dispersion modeling for Formaldehyde per the date specified in the NOV letter.
