Comments: "0 /-✓)c w C orvm s Inventory Review Ca' All forms and supporting documentation appear to be complete if paper submission(check ED OS data if electronic). m Contact, address, phone number changes entered into I-Beam/Facilities if necessary. 0 All known operating scenarios, control devices, and emission release points have been entered for each emission source(permitted, insignificant, and unpermitted)or note that the emission source was not operated or not required to report. 121 Check if SCC codes for each OS are accurate and update if needed. I f Evaluate"U"sources for significance and address according to policy. Calculations/forms appear to add up correctly. All compliance issues are being addressed(e.g.Toxics limits, above TV thresholds, large emissions increase/decrease, installation without a permit). All volatile HAPs/TAPs were included in the VOC total. Cf Calculations and control efficiencies appear correct. Emission factors are the best available and most current factors appropriate for the reporting facility(e.g. stack testing,AP-42,etc.). L'1 Review facility comments and address any issues. ❑ Update ED(Data Entry Main) if additional information is required(corrections due date and date received). 12r Check all ED QA/QC reports. 0 Comparison with previous emission inventory must be made and outliers(> 10%)must be investigated and explained. Put inventory review comments and summarize any changes in ED-Data Entry Main"DAQ internal comments". Print and attach the facility total report. Date Info Requested: `— Date Info Received: `r Total Days on Hold: Date Review Complete: abY/10) Signature: Jk✓ Date Submitted to EI Coordinator: Date Approved: 9 Initials: ;r7-l✓ CY2018 Emission Inventory Notes 1) There are no changes to any emission factors from the CY2017 to the CY2018 inventory. 2) No changes or additions were made to any equipment at the facility in CY2018. 3) Overall natural gas combusted in the boilers increased by 35%compared to CY2017. Overall fuel oil combustion in the boilers was 16%of that burned in CY2017. These changes in fuel use are reflected in SO2, CO and NOx emissions. 5) The increases in particulate are due to the 5.7% increase in blood meal production and meal loadout increase by 9.6%. 6) The increase in VOC emissions is mostly due to a 12.7% increase in raw materials through the cookers. The remaining VOC is associated with boiler emissions. 7) The increase in hydrogen sulfide emissions is directly due to the increase in blood drying. The increase in ammonia is a combination of the increased blood drying and natural gas combustion. 8) PM/PMI O/PM2.5 and SO2 criteria totals are below the reportable threshold. 9) Nickel metal was added it to AERO b/c it's the largest amount of any metal emitted in CY2018. Valley Proteins also included hexane, ammonia and formaldehyde emissions from both boilers, and benzene and toluene for one boiler. I added the benzene and toluene emissions for the other boiler to fully account for these toxics from the facility. 10) H2S,ammonia and n-hexane are emitted above reportable quantities;however, none of the other combustion HAPs/TAPS were emitted above threshold for CY2017.
