' The loss factors for resins and gelcoats are based on NCDAQ guidance(1998 letter from K.Overcash to J.McKnight), except for the 0.122 loss factor for resin-spray lay-up. Albemarle uses Magnum FIT non-atomizing(flowcoating)guns. This loss factor value is based on an emission factor study conducted by Engineering Environmental Consulting Services in November 1998 for the flowcoater emission factors used in the Unified Emission Model developed for the NMMA and the Composites Fabricators Association (CFA).
