(SCS)submits this annual Non-Methane Organic Compound (NMOC)emissions report for the Buncombe County Landfill II (Landfill). The Landfill is subject to Title V Operating Permit Number 10398TO2 (Air Permit). Per the Air Permit,the Landfill is currently regulated according to the applicable portions of MSW Landfill New Source Performance Standards (NSPS)Subpart WWW. Under the requirements of the regulations,the Landfill must submit an annual calculation of NMOC emissions following the calculation procedures specified in 40 CFR 754 and under Condition 2.1.A.3.b of the current Air Permit and submitted as required under Condition 2.1.A.3.f. EPA's LandGEM model was used to calculate the emissions based on actual waste disposal for calendar year 2020 and regulatory specified default variables as noted in enclosed report. This calculation resulted in a 2020 NMOC value of 21.50 Mg/yr, below the Subpart WWW value of 50 Mg/yr, as specified in Condition 2.A.1.3.b.i(B) of the Air Permit.
