Division of Air Quality(DAQ)the required annual air quality permit fee of$ 187.00 in violation of North Carolina General Statutes (N.C.GS.) 143-255.3(a) and Title 15A North Carolina Administrative Code 2Q.0203 ("Permit and Application Fees"). In accordance with N.C.GS. 132.215.108(c)(3), this letter also serves as notice that New Chatham Quarry's Air Quality Permit No. 10497 will be terminated sixty(60) days after receipt of this letter,unless the required value of$ 187.00 is paid to the DAQ. Payment should be by check made payable to N.C. Please be advised that operation of any air pollution control device or emission source which requires permitting or listing in the air quality permit,without a valid air quality permit is a violation of N.C.(!S. 143-215.108. Operating such air emission sources or control devices without a valid permit subjects New Chatham Quarry to further enforcement action by the DAQ pursuant to N.C.GS. 143-215.114A, and/or the initiation of a civil action for injunctive relief in superior court,pursuant to N.C.CIS. 143-215.114C. For facilities other than Title V,this(calendar year) requirement must be fidfilled when the permit renewal application is due(90 days prior to permitexpiration). You should expect to receive a reminderfnotification to report emissions(and further specifications for the inventory)-180 days prior to permit expiruion. You must maintain your records adequately so you can provide the emission estimates when required.
