There was one report submitted for the Total Particulate and Visible Emissions Testing on One Hot Drum Mix Asphalt Plant. The test was performed on 23 September 2008, On 2 July 2009, this Division determined that the subject test performed at your facility was an acceptable source test. The review indicates that compliance with Air Permit No. 09882R00 is indicated for this source. A copy of the detcrmination memorandum issued by Mr. David Hughes, of the N.C.Division of Air Quality, Stationary Source Compliance Branch,is attached. The testing was performed by Trigon Engineering Consultants, Inc. on Septembe 23, 2008 in accordance with the requirements of Air Permit No. 098821W0 Stipulation A.3 and A.7. The emission source is one portable hot mix aspbalt plant(385 tons per hour maximum capacity) consisting of one horizontal cyclone (1D No. CD2)in series with a baghouse (ID No. CDI) installed on a natural gas/No. 2 fuel oil/No. 2 recycled fuel oil/No. 4 fuel oil/No. 4 recycled fuel oil-fired aggregate drum dryer/mixer(ID No. ESI). The test results are also considered an acceptable compliance demonstration for the total PM emission limit in 15A NCAC .0506.
