The Facility Contact,Bob Stowe,was out of state and therefore;not available, Ms: Taylor is Mr.Stowe,s assis,tant and Icoeps all the air duality records. Grinding,bletal parts generates metal particles that are;collected by suction hoses " immediately behind the grinding wheel and then eollocted in a barrel; thus it is asclf-contained dust system Ovote: A wet scrubber used to be permitted here for the metal working operation; the scrubber ' is no longer iceded du io ze o['material e"olleotedi). Most of the hoist components parts are prc- - caste or pre-itlolded metal parts (i.e.'differennf size metal hoist housing). The areas immediately outside of the paint booths were vary clean; and all of the handling,cleaning and storage areas near the booths were clean as wall. This is whore"clouning solutions,which"are used to wash"tne hoists beforo they are painted, rue dumpod and held beforethey arc taken away as waste,"Each 350-gallon cleaning tank(these are four) conhaills approximately-20(t gallons of cleaning solution(14 gallons of solvent are generally used per 350 gallons of water). Each cleaning tank has a MSDS sign specifying what Solvent is used in that tank.
